The Latham Family is proudly based in Northwest Alabama, where we operate a small, home-based breeding program centered on quality, responsibility, and genuine love for our dogs. Our program is intentionally kept small so that every dog and every litter receives individualized attention. Our dogs are not raised in kennels or outdoor runs—they are raised in our home, as part of our family, and are “pre-spoiled” from the very beginning.

 

From birth, our puppies are handled daily, exposed to normal household activity, and socialized with care to build confident, well-mannered temperaments. They grow up around family life, learning sounds, routines, and interactions that prepare them to transition smoothly into their forever homes. We believe early socialization, affection, and structure are just as important as genetics.

 

We are deeply committed to responsible breeding practices. All of our dogs are registered, carefully selected for temperament, structure, and breed quality, and fully health tested before being included in our program. Health, soundness, and longevity are top priorities, and we never breed without ensuring our dogs meet our standards for both physical and emotional well-being.

 

Our mission is not to produce large numbers of puppies, but to produce exceptional ones. Each litter is thoughtfully planned with the goal of improving the breed and providing families with healthy, well-raised companions.
